There are some decent restaurants in the Oxford/St Michaels area. Even Salisbury has a decent restaurant.

The secret to Hyatt Chesapeake is you have to venture off campus for meals.

We go 1-2 times a year and never more than 8 hours. 4 hours to Richmond? You need to time your trip better.

Kiawah is very expensive and isolated. If you don’t want to drive for coffee and restaurants, it’s not for you.

Rehoboth. Teens on the low key boardwalk, parents in the restaurants/bars.

Looking for a drivable summer getaway where adults have a variety of relaxing or active things to do and teens can do stuff on their own.
The Hyatt has always fit the bill for me, but DH is over the mediocre food among other complaints.
