I love those eye lashes. When a woman who is feminine , has beautiful eyes, beautiful smile with nice teeths, and she has those fake eyes lashes on I get super turned on lol. Add light makeup OMG I want to take her home.

However I do not like bright red lipstick.

I guess it depends on how it is said and when it is said. If I was not wearing makeup and you said, “you really look nice naturally. I actually prefer no makeup.” That is fine. I may wear it or not wear it in the future based on my preference, but would take the comment as a compliment. But I wear light makeup so if you said it without the compliment first when I was wearing makeup, I might be annoyed, because then it just seems like you criticized me.

Sort of like saying to a guy wearing jeans, “I prefer men who wear more tailored pants and not jeans.” You might say, whoa, gonna wear my jeans but didn’t really need your opinion on it. Vs. saying “I really like you in those khakis. I actually prefer men in more formal pants.”

So maybe think about why you are saying it and when.

I wouldn’t worry about it and that’s not even what men like. Plenty of evidence to the contrary

Also I think a lot of men don't realize that what they think of as a "natural" look often involves makeup, hair dye, and a lot of effort.

Also depending on the setting, it is just a dumb thing to share. Once my BIL complimented my hair (which I'd recently grown out) by saying "I just really prefer women with long hair" and I found it really obnoxious because why the f*** would I care how my BIL prefers my hair to look? He's bald, by the by.

This is what I do. My wife wears makeup a few of times a year max, so it always looks a little odd to me, but I don't say anything either way.

Yes this is annoying. And another part is, I don't care what a man prefers. I wear makeup (or not) for myself. I do not exist for his pleasure or preference

It means he likes makeup a lot, he just doesn't like crazy contouring and the heavy false lashes. But mascara, lipgloss and light foundation? He probably loves those.

No, they just know he’s clueless and can’t tell discreet make-up and grooming to “real” natural! 😂
