Nemacolin is unreasonably far from Philadelphia (5+ hrs). Totally different part of the state.

Skytop Lodge in the Poconos. We used to do multi-gen weekends with my grandparents when I was a kid and that’s still its bread and butter. It’s retro but somewhat modernized and the ropes course is fun for kids.

Skytop Lodge. It is so pretty now and they also have skiing and snowtubing.

Skytop Lodge in the Poconos is a little over 2 hours from Philadelphia and is perfect for multigenerational family vacations.

I also recommend Nemacolin for what you describe.

My stepfather is very mobility impaired (can’t walk up more than 3 steps and needs a handrail for even that) but would be nice to find a way for us all to be together in a pretty place where there are also things for the kids to do. Good food is a plus.
