New poster and I came to say the same. OP, and others lamenting "we can't find wholesome shows," get to PBS, join PBS Passport (it is VERY cheap compared to streaming services) and access all seasons of the most recent "All Creatures Great and Small" series. Jan. 12, the new season begins on PBS Masterpiece on Sunday nights, then it will move onto Passport to stream whenever.
You can also see all of the original 1970s-80s version of "All Creatures Great and Small." I believe it's also on PBS Passport but if not, it's definitely available elsewhere. It's great, though the new version (dare I say it as a fan of both?) is better. You will love the characters.
Also recommend "The Larkins," a British series available I believe on either the BritBox or Acorn streaming services. Very wholesome, OP. Look that and All Creatures up on IMDB if you want to know more. I also think you might like the series "Beyond Paradise." The setting is contemporary (unlike All Creatures set in the 30s-40s and Larkins set in the 50s) but it's a small town police show with very, very few murders. I count one actual death per season so far; other crimes are not murders. And the characters are funny, engaging and kind.
I get it, I also get tired of ceaseless griim murdery shows and showing a lot of sex, but there are good alternatives out there if you look!
