CVS is $1.99 for their cheapest cards on card stock. $1.29 for a 5x7 photo print “card”.

Now in years past when money was cheap, I would make my own card in PowerPoint, print that to a JPEG and then print that “card” on a 4x6 photo which was like $0.10, and then by bulk 4x6 envelopes. You could have 100 cards for $15. But they would be glossy print 4x6 photos not actual cards - my teen DD said they would rather not send anything at all then something THAT cheap.

So curious if you got a 4x6 photo as a “card” laid out with “Seasons Greetings” like a real photo card, would you give it side eye??

Because when you start they say $0.65 a card but after spending time loading addresses and trying cards it was a sunk cost. It’s my cheapest option so far, but looking for others experience. For instance minted does not seem cheaper.

The Shutterfly Costco discount is a joke. I moved my business from Costco to Sam’s Club (we belong to both) for cards. Sam’s Club is $15 per 25 cards, so 100 cards is $60, including return address. We print the mailing labels ourselves and stick them on. Is it the highest quality cardstock, no, but it’s fine.

I honestly think this might be my last year though.

I think about every address on our list, I go through it each year and reminisce about the recipient. It’s not like a one click from Amazon. Our family has huge debates on which photos and design which eats up way too much time, and we both work full time so there isn’t a lot of leisure time to spent on licking stamps.

Postage alone is $73 so I guess the card and addressing for us is $200.
Fundamental we like getting cards and we know sending them is the price of admission. We really don’t care if someone signed it themselves or had a service, just being on their list means a lot to us and we love seeing them (we are not a social media family nor our friends).

I bought 130 and it was $1.44 each from Simply to Impress. Not sure how much stamps were, so probably around $250 total. I didn't notice a huge drop pff in people not sending them.

Minted - was $325 for 150 cards. They are very nice, but expensive. Addressed but I had to add the stamp and mail.
