I love the peloton tread. A big part is all the classes, keeps me motivated to keep walking daily.

I have the NordicTrack 2450 which has a larger screen compared to the 1750. That was important to me because I wanted to feel immersed in the iFit videos. Since you said you mainly intend to walk, make sure the 1750 has a sufficient incline for your needs. The 2450 goes up to 15%. It's fun for the videos where you're hiking Mt Fuji, etc.

I've had it for 2 years. There were headaches initially (shitty delivery and the belt squeaked for my 200 lb husband but was easily adjusted). The create a workout feature sucks and I never got it to work properly, but it's fine because the videos are amazing. The customer service phone number is an absolute joke and all repair work is DIY even for problems that exist immediately, unless you want to pay $$$. Sometimes the video quality is not crisp. So I do think very poorly of NordicTrack, but iFit is such an amazing product that I don't really regret buying it. When I was doing my treadmill research, I didn't see that any competitor had videos as good as iFit's. It seemed like Peloton's videos all had this weird running club vibe where you are face to face with the instructor. I googled it just now, and it seems like Peloton does have videos set in nature like iFit. If the catalog is vast like iFit's, I would probably go with Peloton.

One thing about iFit that is annoying is most of the instructors do too much yammering about "RPE" (rate of perceived exertion) and other coaching. I just want to look at pretty scenery and hear more of a tour guide chat, and there are some who do offer that.

That is the Tread+ - the more expensive one that is like a woodway. I would not buy that if I was only walking on it. I use the tread+ for indoor running training and use it for ~1000 miles per year. I just recently finally got the recall rear guard installed.

For OP, for walking, just about any treadmill will do you fine. Or even light running. When you are cranking out intervals or running ~7 minute miles and below for over an hour, I would consider something more substantial like a tread+ or a woodway, etc...

I love my Peloton Tread. Not just the machine but also the classes and software that tracks my workouts.

We have the Nordic Track x22i (the incline trainer). I chose it over a Peloton tread. We already have a Peloton bike.

I love the Nordic Track iFit workouts, especially as a compliment to the Peloton. They have a ton that are outdoors around the world, and with the incline you can do these intense hikes and the steepness varies automatically (as does speed) according to the environment you’re watching.

It’s less of an intense HIIT style workout but it’s a great way to add variety to my cardio, since I was already doing Peloton rides.

The Peloton tread has a larger footprint than the Nordic track and has had some issues, and the workouts feel too similar to the bike to be worth having both IMO.

I cannot compare the two, but I will give you my experience with a Nordic track. I love it, and I use the iFIT trainers to help me train on the treadmill.

Oh! That would be amazing. Maybe I can do the same actually. It’s the Peloton Tread (not Tread+), which I think may be $2,995. It looks like the NordicTrack may be $2,499 ($500 off now). I’ve also heard good things about the SOLE, although I’m not sure which model. Im addition to the incline function, I’m particularly interested in how easy it is to put up the NordicTrack so it doesn’t take up as much space.

Following. Debating this exact question myself. I already have a Peloton bike and membership, if that changes the recommendation.

Can anyone compare the Peloton Treadmill (the less expensive of the two) with the NordicTrack Commercial 750? Interested in it mostly for walking and the incline.
