How do you deal with the parking situation?

At Lifetime I saw the same hyper fit people or the same fat people never losing the weight. No one changed. And the parking lot is horrible, no thanks. Foundry fitness parking lot is so easy, cruise to the Kentlands, park and go in!!! Work out for 45 minutes 3-5x week, make serious diet changes, and watch your body change.

MOVE AWAY FROM THE WEIGHT RACK WHEN DOING A SET

NEVER, EVER USE POWER RACKS AND SQUAT RACKS TO WORKOUT YOUR ARMS. THIS IS THE BIGGEST NO NO RULE.

What are the dance classes like at Onelife? I don't see descriptions for the ones at Pike and Rose.

Classes, the best instructors around, easy parking right in front and no frills no BS and ni unnecessary extras. It’s in the Kentlands. It’s $150/mo unlimited classes and it’s AMAZING! I’ve overhauled my life and dropped a ton of weight and am building muscle!!
Highly recommend!!

dp. I checked the schedule and classes run back to back on the hour. How long is each class?

I think it’s 45 minutes. Classes are awesome and people are in and out quickly when the class wraps up and turns over to the next class. It’s a great place.

This is my second year of One Life. Also a fan.

Similar to Foundry but closer in on 355: Burn Boot Camp. It's great, I go every single day that I can. I think they're even running a holiday special today if you want to try it at a discount.

Don’t know your budget. But there are so many options. CrossFit, Soldier Fit, Club Pilates, Orange theory, Barre, the 45 one that I can’t recall right now, LA Fitness, etc. You need to have an idea of what you want out of a gym. The thing about budget is this. If you get into it, it will become part of your social life and might reduce other costs. And, fitness for yourself is worth spending money on.

OneLife is a nice balance of being nice but not nearly as pricy as lifetime. I know several people that go there and are happy.

Then there are the cheap gyms like LA Fitness in Crown and Planet Fitness in Muddy Branch.

Can also recommend Peak PT personal training which has group classes that may be more affordable.

I am looking for a gym where an overweight, out of shape middle-aged woman won’t feel totally out of place. I like Lifetime but it’s outside my budget. I’m looking in the Gaithersburg / Rockville area. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thank you.
