They only seem to be available in men's atm from Old Friend, but if your mom's feet are big enough to take men's sizes, she might be able to wear the smaller ones like these. I have Old Friends myself, too, and they've held up well.

Unfortunatelu the high bootie styles with warm shearling collars are impossible to get an arthritic foot into, as I've discovered to my dismay. But those kind with velcro straps that wrap over the foot are wonderful if you can find the right size.
