Too bad all the dumb American students harassed and abused their teachers with no support and the teachers fell powerless to protect themselves and others when the name of the game is optics not solutions. Also, many admin in the industry blame the teacher for all the preexisting and societal problems. Y'all burned through and ruined many teachers now no one left. Too bad for y'all.

If you are looking now, you can expect to be snapped up with very little competition, and least in the DC area. Schools with openings now are desperate and would love to get a licensed teacher placed instead of trying to find a long-term sub or scrabble together daily subs.

I went back to teaching a few years ago and most interview processes required you to submit a video answering questions (most common). A few wanted written questions and one wanted a phone interview. One of these before you were selected for in person interviews.

When interviewing teacher candidates at the elementary level, how do principals typically operate?

Do they bring in many at once or one by one? How does it work realistically?
