Audible or Spotify subscriptions with some curated recommendations tend to go over well with that age group.

My two sisters and I gift our father an Audible subscription every year with 12 credits. We each write 4 short letters with a book recommendation so he gets a letter and rec to open on the first of every month.

I got my aunt a spotify account and made a custom playlist with songs that were popular on the radio when she was in high school. I showed her how to log in and follow the pre-made playlist while we were doing presents.

People that age rarely want more stuff in my experience. These are gifts that take up no space and can facilitate nostalgia, learning, and connection with you. All wins!

If they are involved with any charity or cause make a donation on their behalf.

Bulbs, PittmanDavis Grapefruit, and Angel Tree kids in their name were popular with my elderly relatives. I would take photos of the angel tree gifts and the tag and put those in a card for them.

I have the same problem with my old folks. They suffer from the cold, so I just bought some of them snow mittens with a liner glove. Last year it was battery-powered handwarmers. The previous year it was shearling slippers. I'm considering earmuffs for my Godmother, who doesn't like hats.

What music system do they use? If they're still into CDs, maybe a CD of their favorite era?

Nice dish towels, pot holders, wine, fleece zip up jackets, grocery gift card+lottery tix. Or take them out for lunch/dinner.

How about a gift card for a specific experience? Like maybe a movie theater? & perhaps another gift card to an ice cream place for after? (That demographic grew up going out to the movies!)

Are they in to theater? Many local theaters have gift card options, aren't too pricey, and it helps the local arts community.

Comedy club tickets?

Plants. If kids are in anyway into art, make them a piece of art. A scrapbook of family pictures.

Puzzles, if they do them. I got some cute ones this year from 1canoe2; Amazon also has good ones; I've done Rifle Paper ones in previous years.

I’m trying to figure this out too.

So far I have plants, flowers, a throw blanket…

That’s all I have.

I’m seeking last-minute gift ideas for a few aunts and uncles who are in the age range of 65-75.

These are people who don’t need anything but are super generous to us and our kids and I want to show them some love.

In past years I’ve done gourmet food baskets but honestly several have developed so many dietary restrictions that I want to move away from food.

I feel funny giving a restaurant gift card (or gift card in general).

Also want to avoid clutter/“more stuff”.

Thank you in advance for ideas!!!!!
