OP said participate in meets. Also, said kid was athletic. GOTR is for neither of those requirements.

My kids have several friends who do FPYC and are really happy with it.

SYC also has winter track, but sounds like that would also be less convenient for you geographically.

I’m on the hunt for a running club in Arlington, McLean, Vienna, Falls Church area for older elementary age kids. They prefer distance running over sprints but realize that’s more of a fall sport. They are involved in other sports but would like to try out competing in meets. Looked at Seven Locks in MoCo but too much of a time commitment now with their other sports. Arlington doesn’t really seem to have much. Fairfax Police is a little far but doable. Loudoun and PWC have clubs but too far. Has anyone had good experience with some of the county programs? Thanks!
