I’m not sure if it counts as sex Ed because it’s not about inherently sexual information but they are supposed to start with puberty and menstruation in 4th grade. This is relatively new though and this may be the first year it’s implemented.

In March 2023, the DC State Board of Education adopted supplemental DC state learning standards for menstrual health education.”
