Family is in Texas so won’t be as helpful. Our city has a formal research (actual research) program with one of the leading hospitals in the state. Students have a really good track record getting into BS/MD as their recs are written by well known doctors.

Very low percentages, many prioritize in-state, and absolutely seems like diversity is emphasized within that mini class of students just like college admissions.

It’s been a nightmare. Very nerve-racking and taxing process for DS, but we know he has the stats for it.
