I’d toss it. I might have kept it, but since you chose to reheat the whole bath again in the morning, I think you should toss now. Food that had been reheated for a second time shouldn’t be put back in the frig.

But….considering the acidity and if there is alcohol, it’s probably fine, but I’d still toss.

I don't see how this would really make you sick. It might taste off - I would try a small amount and decide.

Sorry to be an outlier, but I don’t think so. That’s a long time sitting at room temp.

Does it have alcohol in it? If so, it’s fine. If not it’s probably fine too.

I made mulled cider in the crockpot for a gathering yesterday. Last evening, I unplugged it, thinking I would let it cool, pour it back into the jug the cider came in, and then refrigerate it. Instead, I forgot about it and went to bed. I discovered it 12 hours after I unplugged it. Unsure of what to do, I turned the crockpot back on high for the last 2 hours. Is it safe to keep the cider or should I throw it out?
