It is probably annoying to compete with younger women for attention

In most cases I think men who leave their wives have a tendency to leave them for much younger women. It's human to be upset. I am married and 48. If my wife leave me for an 28 years old stud I'll obviously be upset and feel insecure about what I may be lacking compared to that guy.

Because we feel sorry for her for dating you.

Men are very harsh toward women as they age. A 70 years old man somehow will look at another 70 years old woman and look at her as if she is 100.

I wouldn't say triggered, but most of the time there is some unhealthy/borne of trauma unmet need in both the older guy and the younger woman.

It seems to me that men go from telling a woman she is beautiful every opportunity he gets to just completely not even seeing her when she gets to a certain age or some of her physical characteristics change.

Men even from w young age do not get completed on their looks as much as women do..so for men beauty has never been something that defines them.

If someone always tell you that your are beautiful and suddenly stops and then you see that same person drooling over other women it's upsetting because often the difference in looks come down to age.

Despite being more successful in terms of career prestige and earnings women are still heavily judged on their looks. For example I have gone into the office unshaven looking like I just slept at the bar before and honestly I didn't care. I have never seen my boss without makeup. That tells you all you need to know.

Men think it's jealousy but it's really that we remember being young and the relentless onslaught of male attention from people old enough to be our fathers. My earliest memory of being perved on by a man was when I was eleven. Eleven! He was in his thirties, and it really didn't stop for 25 years.
So IMO it's PTSD. And even though I never dated an old man, the women I know who did were very vulnerable in different ways and left those relationships worse than they entered them.

So it is kind of triggering, I guess is the right word, to see these same gross old men bragging about it and other men hyping them up for their "accomplishment" of dating someone with an underdeveloped frontal lobe.

Once the younger partner is 25 I don't care at all. It's only upsetting to me when it's a very recent adult (college aged/first real job or younger).

Why are women so triggered about men dating younger?

Older men brag about dating younger but there isn't much to it. It's often just midlife crisis. Yet women on here are so triggered by it. Stop feeling insecure about it. And in 99.9% of cases you wouldn't even date those older men anyways so why are you so triggered?
