The Wheaton Rec Center one is probably the best bet. It does take 13 laps or so to make a mile, which can get dull. The Wheaton library is in the same building, which is nice.
Wheaton has a raised track, so you walk around above other gym activities. It’s something to talk about and look at, and it makes it feel more communal.
Is anyone familiar with senior or rec centers in MoCo that have facilities like a track for indoor walking? The county website says the rec centers have indoor walking but I'm not sure what that would consist of -- walking around a gym while other activities are going on is not ideal. Or other options (not malls)? My parents like to walk but not in the cold. They're in Rockville. TIA.
