They only notified some people, and others were left hanging and wondering if the fact they weren't notified meant they were rejected. It was just a few days before Christmas and really just seemed mean. My kid was a high school senior last year but had not applied to VT, so while it didn't affect my kid, I sure heard a lot about it from others.
I don't get this - don't lots of schools release decisions in batches? I know University of Delaware, Pitt, a few others. No one thinks that's mean.
