This one is a gut punch. I can't fathom what he was thinking here (in terms of any non-nefarious, valid reason.) Horribly disappointing.

The judge was an elected democrat so maybe that had something to do with it.
I’m sure. And probably a bribe.
It is weird how Biden is just torching whatever reputation he had in his last few weeks.

If you closely inspect Biden’s life and career, there are crumbs of evidence that he’s always been a low morals scumbag.
It is just becoming increasingly evident now and inescapable.
Biden is a career politician. Of course he’s corrupt.
Members of my family in NJ have been in politics. Bribes, payoffs and “favors” are the mother’s milk of US politics.

Trump is the swamp. But obviously so is Biden, and I am beginning to think Biden is worse. Pardoning this judge is so transparently corrupt that I’m not even sure Trump would stoop to this.

Depressingly, I think you’re right.
There is only one reason someone as vile as the kids for cash judge gets a pardon: corruption. It’s a blow to see the Democrats as craven and corrupt as the Republicans, but I guess I was stupidly naive.
