I think it’s MV and Differential Equations (one class). I think you can take Linear dual enrollment (GW?) but can’t say for sure. Above my family’s math level for sure.

Many MCPS HS offer MVC and Linear Algebra.

Pretty rare from what I can tell. Poolesville and Blair definitely have it.

Wheaton, Springbrook, Watkins Mills, QO, NW, Magruder, Blake etc... they all offer MVC/DE.

QO lists it but does not actually offer it

RM has MVC but not linear alg.

AP Statistics is a good class, and your son should take it.

This is an area where schools are pretty different, and the offerings sometimes change from year to year based on the # of kids involved. Just email the counselor-- they're doing registration advising now so this is a good time to ask.

He can take linear algebra, multvariable calculus, or discrete structures at Montgomery College through dual enrollment. He would need a score of 4 or 5 from his AP BC test to take the class at MC.

Your kid's math teacher or guidance counselor knows the answer to this question.

My 11th grade son is a junior who decided to skip Calc AB and go straight into Calc BC. He's planning to take the exam in May and since he's a junior, I'm a bit confused since I thought Calc BC was the last level of math content from the MCPS course catalog. I haven't checked what other math courses my son's school offers, but the best he can do for senior year is AP Statistics. (unless any other school has courses like differential equations, linear algebra, etc.)

Since senior year still requires everyone to take a math course, are there any other math course opportunities he can do during his senior year? My only thought in mind has AP Statistics for him.
