I've never liked it either, OP! The food is mediocre at best. Yet, people flock to it.

We were in there today for brunch. Place was slammed.

It's nice when you're looking for something different. They are also very accommodating of large groups and GF diets. And the food is decent if not great.

People can tolerate underwhelming food if the vibe of the place is nice and service is good.

It's been around for decades so it must have a following.

They have good chicken soup.

I don’t like it at all, and have never heard it recommended.

Really enjoy their soup. It is also a nice quiet place to take older diners who do not hear well in loud places.

My entire family loves the chocolate waffle for dessert. The chicken sandwich blt is a favorite of my spouse and son, I like their soups and salads

I have been three times. They have a good chicken salad platter. I was underwhelmed by their egg dishes and found the waffles meh.


I do not plan to return.

I’m just not understanding the love for this place? I have tried it a few times thinking I was missing something but every time it has been so underwhelming. The waffles are weird and tasteless and it’s ridiculously overpriced for what it is. Is there something you love from here that keeps you going back?
