For planning purposes, Fall sports will begin as early as July 31 with most beginning on August 4.
Late May – Dance Team
July 31 – Coed Golf
August 4 – Field hockey, volleyball, cheer, women’s golf and JV/V football
August 11 – Cross country
August 4 or 11 – Freshmen football this page will be updated in the coming weeks
First Week September - Ultimate Frisbee
Late September/early October – Girls Flag Football
Some of these dates are estimates but they will not move any earlier.
Please note, playing a high school fall sport requires a commitment to be present for the duration of tryouts and daily practices thereafter. Families are advised that vacations planned after the start of fall sports will not be considered favorably during the tryout process because there is limited practice time to build a team prior to the start of scrimmages and games in mid to late August.
Good info. Marching band also starts on Aug 4.
Are marching bands dying? They don't give much college edge, but require a commitment of time and suffering with hot weather and travel and awful awful uniforms, it just seems to be a slog.
