My college sons regain weight over the summer with lasagna, chicken pot pie, chili, pancakes, beef stews, rolls, etc.

Potatoes. I don’t know why but they really pack on the pounds. Baked, scalloped, au gratin, mashed etc. use real butter and heavy cream for extra calories.

Or medical. In the 18 months before my son's MS diagnosis he had also dropped a lot of weight without trying. He did have other symptoms, but they were vague for a long time.

Yeah, you definitely need to dig deeper on this.

Egg sandwiches, baked pasta, cake ...

It sounds like there is something going on. It's concerning for a young man to lose that much weight in 3-4 months (I assume since August?) His diet may be indicative of an eating disorder. He needs to put back 10-15 pounds. He says he’s maintained his healthy/protein heavy diet at college. Whatever, I’d like to have calorie rich options that aren’t total junk. He’ll eat just about anything I prepare. Suggestions please.
