I haven't had problems with dry eye or dry mouth since I shortly after I started HRT. Prior to that, I could only wear my contacts for an afternoon/evening. I also slept with a cough drop in my mouth for years. YMMV

Daily contacts and consistent fish oil have really helped me

I use systane every morning before I put in my contacts, and refresh when they are in.

I also use Lumify when my eyes are red.

But yeah, daily contacts are better for people w dry eye.

I found monthly ProClear were good but I did not like having to clean them. I switched to daily proclear and they are pretty good. If I were Bill Gates I would buy monthly proclear and wear a new pair every day but since I am not I get the daily. Daily is so nice, you can just throw them out eery night and not deal with cleaning.

I'm in my mid-40s and starting to experience a lot of dry eye, which has me having to change out my contacts every 5-7 days as opposed to every 2 weeks, something it's every 3-4 days, depending on how much I'm willing to put up with scratchy eyes. Everything seems to stick to my contacts. I've been using dry eye drops but it's not really helping. Are their brands of contacts that are better for dry eye? I've been considering lasik for the first time in my life.
