Am I the only one that doesn't think this post is weird or creepy? Maybe I'm a creeper...

My same age son only wears boxer briefs. But I could not tell you what any other kids are wearing except the few kids who have slept over and ive thrown their clothes in the wash. He likes the tightness as well but prefers them over his legs. I buy the sport type wicking ones.
Second that this doesn't matter at all though. He should wear what is comfortable.

I would say screw what other kids think, wear what's comfortable for him but I get it. 5th grade.
Maybe have him try a pair of under armour boxerjocks?

If he's comfortable in them, then yes. If not, then no.
It's okay to be weird (wearing briefs isn't weird btw) - teach him to be comfortable in his own skin.

My son is in fifth grade and loves soccer. He is a shy, quiet kid and still wears briefs. He thinks briefs are better for sports and doesn't want to try boxers at all. However, he doesn't see many other kids wearing them in the locker room and is afraid of being weird...
