I taught yoga for 30 years. I received many lovely thoughtful gifts every Christmas.

Np. I think is a very nice gesture. I sometimes received holiday cards and gifts (gift cards included, among things like scarves, books, and handmade ceramics) from regular students when I taught yoga part time throughout my 30s. And I always think a gift card to someplace specific (e.g., Lululemon) or near to your interactions (e.g., a boutique, bookshop, tea house, or coffee shop by your gym) is the most genuine route for gift card giving vs super generic like Target.

That’s insultingly low.

I go to the same class at my gym taught by the same teacher every Saturday morning and Wednesday night. Teacher is probably 50, and lovely. Would like to thank her at the holidays- gift card?
