Wegmans has good pinwheel wraps that come in different flavor combinations.

cheese cubes with fancy toothpicks. You can do a white and an orange cheese (aesthetics vs. it being a good cheese) pre-speared for tidiness if you have the time. melon balls too.

the knotted bamboo toothpicks are really good for that:

Trader Joe’s has pretzels in holiday shapes. Do that, olives, cheese, crackers, red and green M&M’s, stuff like that.

OP here. These are great. I love sugar so these are all sounding great. Any savory ideas? (love the clementine suggestion for something healthier). Thanks

I would make sure they are individually wrapped, even in little glassine bags if not already wrapped.
Gingerbread
Candy canes
Pretzel rods
Clementines (no need to wrap these)

Add Candy canes. Nobody ever eats those so the table will look decorated the whole time

I’m a candy person. Holiday Hershey kisses. Lindt chocolates or tates chocolate chip cookies in the single serve pack.

I'm helping a friend put together an open house at a small shop and looking for suggestions for small food items that look pretty/festive and are easy to pick up and eat. It can't be something that needs to be cooked. The simpler the better and the aesthetics are more important than the fanciness of the food; for example, it could be pretzels, but served in fun paper containers. Any suggestions from creative hosts out there?
