It's too small for my eight-year-old and they aren't allowed to wear tech suits in competition anyway.
I am the previous poster. 8 year-olds are allowed to wear tech suits at meets. I have seen a few who wore tech suits at recent mini meets.
Some tech suits are 12&U approved and some aren’t. Hand me downs from a now college swimmer likely aren’t legal.
It's almost as if Arena and Speedo made the rules. Nope, no hand-me-downs allowed.
I’m confused. They can hand down, just not to a 12&U, which was the post I was responding to. My DD is 14 and a size 22 tech suit. She could use it. The sizing isn’t analogous to regular suits.
My DD (8-y-o) is a Dolfin brand size 30.

We donate a lot of extras to our club - goggles given as swag that don’t fit my kids’ faces, outgrown fins, suits with some wear left. There are swimmers who get financial aid, and the coach knows who they are, we don’t.
