Stuffed shells and garlic bread. It’s my kids favorite meal.

You're supposed to eat fish. I don't like fish, so a pasta dish.

We usually do pizza Christmas Eve but this year we are thinking of Thai. I host for Thanksgiving, make lots of homemade Christmas desserts and make a nice Christmas Day breakfast so for dinner I want something easy.

I'd do something light. I've found on Christmas you tend to be snacking in various stuff all day so no one really wants a big dinner.

We’ve taken out Peking Duck before which was a nice change up!

Fondue is really fun. Feels special but is not that much work.

We typically do Chinese on Christmas Eve, but it could definitely be a Christmas Day thing. We’ve also done baked ziti with bread and salad. I made the ziti ahead of time. But I also love a meal made up of just appetizers!

We usually do steak or Italian. No one really loves a turkey or ham.

Chinese food. It’s the food of my people on Christmas.

Homemade lasagna. I make it a day or two ahead so there's no work on Christmas -- just pop it in the oven. I only make it once a year so it feels special to my family.

We will be celebrating with family on Christmas Eve this year, and for the first year in ages, we will just be our nuclear family on Christmas Day for dinner. I’m excited to be off the hook for cooking a lavish meal, but I have no idea what to do instead! I considered a snack-y charcuterie-type dinner, or a Costco take-and-bake pizza (do they even still make those?) but wondered if I could do better. What do you have for dinner?
