My tween would be into something like this. She has no idea who these people are and wouldn’t care about Hilaria’s backstory if she thought it looked fun or cute.

I looked, and it seems like it’s basically homemade masks like yogurt stuff? Not so different from cute easy baking recipes or crafts. I’d think it will appeal to tweens not yet into all the fancy Sephora stuff.
