But I was optimistic based on the good early season last year too and then VT has a couple of days of flooding rains that washed away a LOT of the snow. It wasn't great. I won't make reservations until we get closer to Christmas.

In all seriousness, Vermont is always a crapshoot. They will have a period of good conditions, then it will rain, then it will be 14 degrees and ice over. Rinse and repeat.
