I started exercising more frequently because I was straining my back semi-frequently. The exercise has helped strengthen my back and now I'm injuring myself WAY less frequently and even when I do strain my back a bit, I recover much more quickly (stiff for a day or two vs. in pain for 6+ weeks).

Presumably because OP is getting injured and wants to know if their frequency is out of line with their peers. If someone is asking about apples, do you really want to know why they're not asking about oranges?

I work out daily (47) mix of CF, running and a little OTF. No injuries. I am going through a plantar fasciitis flare up right now but I just take time off of running and jump roping and it gets better.

I injured my sacroiliac joint three times doing yoga. I switched to barre and pilates and have not had an injury since.

Tore a calf muscle doing martial arts
Had several falls from road biking
A couple bouts of tendonitis

Now I try to do low impact and warm up enough beforehand

For many years I was able to run and work out and have zero injuries whereas my workout buddy of similar age had frequent injuries. She was injury prone and I wasn't - not because I was doing something better or different.

Now that I'm old, I have frequent aches and pains that limit my workout types and range of motion but still no actual injuries.

Some people are more injury prone than others for whatever reasons.

Now that I’m in my late 40s, I’m super cautious about getting hurt. So I go slower or lift less or just walk on a day where I am starting to feel twingy or suspect I might need a break.

Until 40, nothing much. Shin splits about the worst. Then knee problems, abdominal hernia, bad pinched nerve in neck amongst other small things

0 injuries other than one fall with some scrapes/bruises, but probably not what you wanted to hear.

I envy your body’s resilience, not to mention your commitment. Unless you added an extra 0 by mistake, that’s around 6 years every day!

I don't. Very low impact. Maybe sometimes I tweak an ankle, but I can walk it off within a half hour to a day, so don't even consider that an injury.

I'm 52 and have worked out since after college. I have had lots of injuries. All tendonitis from overuse. The body part has varied over the years from hamstring to shoulder to elbow but it's always from overuse and improper form. As I've aged I've learned to stop at the first sign of pain. I did not do this when I was younger but my older self has learned from my mistakes.

Still running and lifting at 52 with plans to do it until I'm dead.

What kind of injuries do you have?
