I recently retired from NASA and was pleasantly surprised by the performance of Jim Bridenstine, Trumps 2017 appointment. But Bridenstine was effective because he knew Congress and how to work the appropriations process. This guy may be a good business person, but it’s going to be a steep learning curve to understand the politics of NASA Centers, Congress, and the FARs.
