Thank you for bringing your concern regarding the temperature in your classroom to our attention. We understand that a comfortable classroom environment is essential for both teaching and learning, and we sincerely apologize for any discomfort caused by the current conditions.

We have reviewed the issue and are aware that temperature control can be challenging, especially during the colder months. To address this, we will have the maintenance team inspect the heating system in your classroom to ensure it is functioning properly. If there are any issues, we will work to resolve them as quickly as possible.

In the meantime, we encourage you to take any immediate steps you feel may help, such as adjusting your personal space heater or layering clothing to stay comfortable. If you continue to experience issues, please let us know, and we will explore further solutions.

We appreciate your patience as we work to maintain a conducive learning environment for all of our staff and students. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any further concerns or if there’s anything else we can do to assist.

Thank you for your understanding and continued dedication.

I’m a teacher at Cardozo and our building is freezing! Kids are complaining and can’t work, our Gym is a refrigerator, the principal’s office is intolerable, and all of us are wearing coats and scarves to teach in this frozen tundra.

We’ve all complained to the mayor’s office, but all we’ve gotten is a generic response.

Anyone else having heating issues?
