When my son did it, I think they said the acceptance rate was around 50%. You definitely get an email either way. I find that NSLI-Y tends to send application updates on Friday afternoons.

Our daughter applied for the virtual Arabic program and is wondering how she will learn if she's gotten in or not. She's seeing posts on Reddit about it but hasn't receive an email or notice in the portal one way or another. Anyone have insight into whether applicants definitely receive an email of acceptance/rejection? TIA.
