If you are not in Cruz bay, you need a car. Preferably a Jeep.

We are heading there for the first time, but a brief visit (think long weekend). An older parent and adult child.

What would you suggest? We are hoping to avoid a rental vehicle (relying on taxied for a couple of beach trips). Please advise us what to fit in. Thank you!

Yes because there are limited restaurants.

Morgan’s Mango is very nice for an upscale meal. I would pick at least 3 places to make reservations at, it’s a very busy island.

If you want to eat anywhere nice like Morgan’s Mango, Lovango, etc then yes definitely. If you’re not picky and want to stay casual then not necessary.

We will spend a few days in Cruz Bay, the week before Christmas. Would you suggest we make dinner reservations before traveling?
