No. Blending does not destroy the fiber.

Juicing removes a lot of it. Blending does not.

You are right. I meant the absorption of other things and things that fiber can affect, like lower cholesterol levels, or slowing digestion for blood sugar levels.

Please settle a debate:
Does blending things, say steel cut rolled oatmeal, end up destroying its fiber?
While the ultimate fiber content is the same, does the blending process break down the fiber that would otherwise get broken down and absorbed differently (re: better for you) in your stomach? Or does it not matter and blend on?
