Stayed at the Park Plaza Westminster. Close to Waterloo tube station and many attractions. But the hotel looked like it was popular with American tourists - it was packed with them (including us!)

The Lowndes Hotel in Belgravia. Have stayed there about a dozen times. Super convenient to
shopping, dining, Hyde Park, Knightsbridge, Sloane Street, etc. You may never need to call a cab or take the tube as so much is within walking distance.

The Stafford off of Green Park but you need the Tube as well. And a lot of money.

The best thing about London is how easy it is.to get around. Just make sure you're near a tube station and you're fine. London is extremely spread out but very easy to get around by foot and/or public transportation.

St. Ermins Hotel in Westminster. London is so spread out but this hotel was ridiculously close to many things my family wanted to see and do. Would stay there again, no hesitation.

Bloomsbury/Convent Gardenis a great location. But it is like Manhattan. You would need to do a few different locations.

The St James. It's close to my office, to shopping, lots of restaurants, to some sights. That said, learn to use the tube. It's a big city and nowhere is walkable to everything.

The attractions in Londo in are spread out. What do you want to be close to the most?

Where was most walkable? In the sense that everything you needed was nearby - food, attractions, landmarks, shopping, etc.
