On their own I think they can look good. My only concern would be about the weight, especially if you're not used to heavy earrings.

fwiw, I wear glasses every waking hour and bigger hoops look silly on me. Just too much going on. I stick with tiny gold hoops or diamond studs.
Glasses and hoops look bad. I want to wear hoops too but they look bad with my glasses.

No. Every face but fat and round looks great in hoops. Fat round faces look terrible in hoops.

Go ahead and get the ones that you want. The larger ones are probably more in style now, anyway. But if you don’t normally wear earrings, beware that the larger ones may irritate/annoy you. And try not to run your fingers through your hair right around your ears, you can catch the earring in a finger and yank it out.
