You need to decide South Maui eg Wailea or West Maui eg Kaanapali, Kapalua.
Lahaina burn zone is screened off and cleared off but personally I would not want to bypass it going to and from West Maui resorts. Too sad.
So I would only stay South Maui. I am not even sure I would go visit West Maui. Yeah I know they need $upport yadda yadda but donate to a charity.

Hyatt Regency Maui with club access.

I stayed at the Four Seasons with my family years ago. It’s amazing.

We loved Marriot Waillea.

Sheraton Maui in Kaanapali Beach

We loved the Hyatt Regency in Ka'anapali with our then-7 year olds. We'd previously stayed at the Westin in Ka'anapali without kids, but also seemed family friendly.

Grand Wailea unless they have construction going on. Check.

Best Maui hotel with a family of 4 kids ranging in ages 6-13. Open to splurging.
