The Gage is good. We really enjoy Mercat a la Planxa in the Blackstone—awesome tapas.

We just came from Chicago. I’m not sure if this is considered downtown but Beatnik on the river was very good

If you like French, Monadnock is a sleeper hit. I've only had lunch there, but service was great and consistent through several visits. If you want to be a short walk from your hotel, it's a solid option.

Check out the Gage, too. I haven't been since before the pandemic, but it might fit the bill nicely.

Broken English has good tacos. And good margaritas.

Last minute trip to Chicago, where I’ll be staying downtown at the JW Marriott.
Looking for a cozy restaurant with great food.
Right now I’m looking at Bistro Monardnock or Maharaj Indian Grill but open to other suggestions.
