The best FCPS girls program is probably Woodson.
How is that possible? According to Langley crew: https://www.langleycrew.com/
2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021 and 2024 State Champions

Are those Langley championships for the varsity 8 boats?
According to the Wakefield Crew Boosters website “Wakefield has built a legacy of success. In 2024, the girls first varsity 8 won the state championships for the 4th year in a row,”

Langley HS won A LOT of crew championship. Wakefield HS won a few, but WF is not at the same level as Langley or Mclean HS. When it comes to crew, money matters, and Langley/McLean pyramid has a lot.
I think PPs are referring to the Varsity 8 championship boats specifically. I’m certain the Arlington high schools and the FCPS high schools have dozens of championship boats over the past decade. All these teams have anywhere between 100 to 150 members. I saw in the news that W-L left its home of almost 80 years in Georgetown since it outgrew the boathouse there.
