Since it is thawed, look up how to dry brine a turkey. I think you can brine it for several days. This is a common cooking method, so clearly people defrost turkeys days in advance. Other people buy them fresh. Lots of meats can drip a little. That is what people often use an additional plastic bag.

Bought turkey from whole foods on friday. Not thawed quite all the way..but I think its almost thawed now. Says use or freeze by December. When I got home it leaked some blood ..but couldn’t find where it was leaking from. I panicked thinking the packaging was damaged. Husband thought it was fine.. but now Im not so sure. Is it ok to eat do you think?
