I don’t think this is correct. The only younger Valor boys team playing in that tournament is 2016. That coach is not a parent, unless they had someone subbing in. But that team didn’t play and Lewinsville. And Valor jerseys are either gray or black, not white.

Im not here to say Valor is a great club. In fact, I could totally see the above scenario happening with a different Valor team that has a parent coach. But that team isn’t playing in this tournament.

I feel like this could have been my son’s coach at u10 if we went back 8 years. He screamed and threatened players but was the worst to his own son. At one tournament, the parents from the opposing team were complaining to each other about the egregious behavior when the coach’s wife overheard and became upset. An argument ensued. The same coach received multiple cards (including red) while my son played for him. My son moved on. Eventually his son quit which no doubt was due to the pressure. No coach should be yelling at 9 year olds (or 10 or 11 yo). And no parent should be yelling at their own player like that (coach or not). It just ruins the entire experience.

If the Coach crossed the field to confront the ref, I don't think he would take too kindly to a parent telling him to take the temperature down.
