Get a variety of steaks, Tbone, ribeye, chuck, sirloin, and buy a cheap grill for about $50 and a bag of charcoal and a bag of wood chips. Fire it up and throw on the wettened wood chips once the charcoal is burnt down for a few min, and throw on the steaks. Cook about 5 min a side and serve hot, or wrap in foil after cooking and keep in a warmer or oven.
You could also broil them in the electric oven, on high, for about 5-8 min a side, just however you like them, rareish, med rare, etc. DON'T overcook though.
