$6700 for two-phase comprehensive treatment. They did not base on this on insurance, since I didn't volunteer that ours covered it until after we got the quote.

$5600 a few years ago for an adult. Treatment estimate was 6-9 months, but ended up taking 2 years. Flat fee covered everything including the extra time.

Around $7500. I went with a provider that cost slightly more but offered lifetime retainers. My understanding is that getting retainers replaced every couple years once you're done can really add up.

It was around 6k for my DD - her treatment was pretty basic - just some simple cosmetic straightening. I was still considering dental insurance at the time so I don't think it factored into the quote. We went with traditional braces which were around 5k.

$5800, insurance covered 3k. In case it is useful, I received the Invisalign quote before I signed up for dental insurance that covered it.

Does the cost vary based on the severity of straightening needed and time required? My son needs minor corrections (more cosmetic) yet I've been told I'll likely have to pay for a full course of treatment at full price. I guess I am subsidizing the more time-consuming and complex cases?

(or maybe because I live in Arlington they assume I can afford it, hah!)
