I don’t use black plastic utensils. Mine are metal, wood, and silicone. I do a lot of cooking in my Le Creuset so usually reach for the silicone stuff. Everything GIR makes is really great.

After all these years, my whole family is probably poisoned. Between toxins in the air and water, detergents for my dishwasher and washing machine, god knows what in our food supply….no wonder humans are so ill. .

Found Cephalon triple ply stainless steel utensils at a fraction of the cost at Burlington Coat Factory.

Not sure what to replace them with. Metal supposedly scratches even the stainless steel pots & pans, have a couple wooden stirring spoons, but some other types just don’t work as well.

I haven't used a black plastic utensil in forever. All mine are metal, wood and like 2 all silicone spoons.

Supposedly cooking utensils made of black plastic are toxic. Something about the recycled materials used to make them not being processed properly. They only tested black plastics, so who knows, it could be all colors. Are you replacing black plastic utensils and if so with what?
