He’s going to be in town for a few weeks and they are porch sitters so avoiding him is inevitable. I managed to walk past and wave and smile seeing him after we initially met but what do I call him? Big Daddy?
They aren’t referring to him by any first name, just “Shirleen, this is Big Daddy. Big Daddy will be in town until Christmas”, “Big Daddy hasn’t been up here in years”.
It’s not that I mind, I just have never called anyone by that name and it sounds sexual-esque to me coming from DC. He seems like a complete sweetheart, he’s a hugger and gives off true kind grandpa vibes. Nothing weird or anything.
. I may have to lean into Big Daddy on that one.
