The most important criteria if you are looking for OIT is a place that does a LOT of it.
OP make sure you understand what your child is taking on by going the OIT route vs your/their goals. Daily dosing, hourly+ rest periods before and after each dose, potential side effects (nausea, GI pain, itching, increased risk for anaphylaxis). All with the goal of, in the case of Palforzia, eating max one peanut a day.
OIT can be a game changer for some families, but so can just Xolair alone if you're just looking for protection from cross contamination. Our child is doing Xolair with the goal to challenge out and free eat on their allergen at the 6 month mark. We understand the pro/con of that vs just OIT alone.
