I bought these - the barrel cut is more subtle in person and the green is a prettier olive. I like them!

those look really nice - do they hit you as a crop like for the model?

Please OP don't hurt 'em.

I got these: https://www.prana.com/p/send-off-pant/2066001.html?srsltid=AfmBOooUzyhPiLnLa08WEp58CXcRG3fZrUcDOLPzmEmoZYsynZmBWcju

They don’t look that big in the pictures but on me they are HUGE.

They look pretty huge honestly -- you have to figure that model is at least 5'8" and more likely 5'10". And the drawstring at the ankle is VERY parachute pants. But they look comfy and they are on trend so whatever.

These do not look huge. Let me guess, you’re still wearing skinnies? Free your legs!

That's how I felt when high waists came back in. Pulling up the jeans. Buttoning them at my waist instead of at my hipbones. It was lux.

This is real. I spent a decade in low rise and also a decade+ in skinny jeans. Pulling on a pair of high waist, straight or wide leg, jeans feels like heaven. And the best part is that even if I'm bloated or up a couple pounds, it feels pretty much the same. That's such a wonderful feeling, not having to think about or notice every minor weight fluctuation because it's so obvious in your skin tight jeans or visible in the parts of your hips or belly that are exposed thanks to a low rise. Liberation.

I'll never go back. I'm in my 40s now and I don't care what happens with trends, I will never wear another pair of skin tight or low rise denim ever again.

My Dh (36) is so used to wearing skinny jeans that he called straight leg pants parachute pants 😂 I bet real baggy jeans are a huge difference!

Link?

I bought a pair of high waisted, wide leg corduroys last year and they are so comfy and look great with boots or sneakers. I wear them all the time. But the waist is still relatively fitted and sits at my natural waist so I don't know that I'd call them "baggy".

I've been trying to find a pair of jeans that have a similar vibe and some of the options are baggier -- more relaxed waist and either wide leg or barrel. But I haven't found the right fit yet.

Bought my first pair of baggy pants today. They'll super high quality but OMG. I feel like I'm 15 years old wearing parachute pants again.

H says it looks awesome but I think I look absolutely ridiculous.
