Bring ear plugs for everyone else.

I wouldn’t worry about it.

However, the sleep study and CPAP have saved my marriage.

Yeah, I wish rheee was a quick fix. I did mouth guard, nose strips, even the weird nose clips from Amazon. Nothing helped. I ended up offering to go to a hotel.

Don’t drink alcohol. My DH had horrible sleep apnea and snores horribly. He had gone to several doctors, gotten prescribed a special mouth guard but it wasn’t working. Next step was to do a sleep study and get a cpap.

I had read the link between alcohol and snoring (it relaxes the throat so you start snoring and loud) and since he drank a few beers regularly I had him completely stop. By the second night he has stopped snoring completely. And he was no longer super tired during the day. It was incredible.

I posted about this on other threads re snoring and other posters have chimed in they had similar results in their situation. So if you really want to not disturb others, don’t drink. There are direct links between even consuming 1-2 drinks and snoring.

Nose strips + sleep elevated + don't drink.

The strips helped me tremendously with breathing in sleep but I don’t remember if they afffected snoring. (I have since had surgery so don’t need them.)

Sleep on the couch? There really is no quick fix.

OP here. Trip is this weekend so need a quick fix thing for me, not for others. Not possible to get my own room (in vacation rental home).

you need a cpap - truly, nothing else works. i'm sorry - i wish there were an easier fix.

I just vacationed with my sister who snores. I slept with head phones.

Going on a group trip with friends and due to a scheduling snafu a few of us are bunking up double occupancy. I snore.

What is a good tool to pick up from CVS to help? Nose strip? Those lip sealer things?
